Our website address is: https://tucsongemshow101.com. Operated by NOBU WORLD TRADING, K.K., we are dedicated to providing accurate, first-hand information for the Tucson Gem Show through our website and the Gem Show 101 mobile application.

2. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Mobile App Account Data

When you sign in to our mobile application using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we receive basic profile details (user ID, name, email address) strictly for identity verification. Private negotiation notes and saved vendor favorites are stored locally on your device and are not monitored or sold.

Comments and Reviews

When visitors leave comments or reviews on the site or app, we collect the data shown in the submission forms, along with IP addresses to assist in spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.

Contact Forms

Information submitted through our contact forms is used solely for customer service purposes to respond to your inquiries.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.

Authentication & Cloud Infrastructure (Firebase)

We use Google Firebase for secure user authentication and database management for community vendor ratings.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to monitor and analyze web traffic anonymously. You can opt-out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on prior website visits. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings.

Payments (Stripe)

5. Your rights over your data & Account Deletion

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, or request that we erase any personal data we hold.

Mobile App Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. In the Gem Show 101 mobile app, tap your account avatar, select “Delete Account & Data”, and confirm. This permanently removes your authentication records from Firebase and wipes local cached notes and favorites from your device.

We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information. We take absolute care in managing your information and never sell your personal data to third parties.
