In the Tucson Gem Showcase, specific shows require registration for wholesale purchasing or general admission.
Do not worry—over 40 shows do not require registration and are completely open to the public. Only a select few venues have strict entry protocols.
Registration rules and requirements differ between each show. Some venues strictly enforce trade-only credentials, while others have a more relaxed entry process.

How can I register?
You have the following two options.
Online Registration
You can pre-register via the official website of each show.
On the day of the event, you will receive an admission badge or sticker at the pre-registration counter when you present proof of your pre-registration, such as a confirmation email or printed document.
On-site Registration
You can register directly at the entrance counter.
Before entering the show, you must fill out an information form and present your ID, business credentials, and other requirements. While this method is simple, be prepared to wait in long lines during peak times.
What do I need to prepare?
Requirements vary depending on the show. However, we highly recommend preparing the following items to ensure smooth entry:
- Photo Identification: (e.g., Driver’s License, Passport, etc.)
- Proof of Gem/Jewelry Industry Involvement: (e.g., Business card, Flyers, Brochures, Website domain, Invoices, etc.)
- Proof of Registered Business: (e.g., Business License, Resale License, Wholesale Tax Certificate, Sales and Use Tax Certificate, Business Tax License, etc.)
Please note that an EIN (Employer Identification Number) is generally NOT accepted as sole proof of business at most wholesale shows.
How to Register for Major Shows

JOGS Gem & Jewelry Show
If you have registered for JOGS in the past, you generally do not need to register again (subject to verification).
This show is open to the public. If you do not have a gem or jewelry-related business and a valid Tax ID, you may purchase Guest tickets ($20 + Tax) online or at the registration counter.

AGTA GemFair Tucson
Anyone who attended the previous year’s AGTA GemFair™ Tucson as a registered buyer will be automatically registered for the upcoming show (subject to re-verification).
Once you have received your AGTA badge, you can use it to enter the GJX Gem & Jewelry Show as well. Please note: This show is strictly NOT open to the public.

GJX Gem & Jewelry Show
Beginning with the 2025 show and going forward, buyers are required to register annually. If you attended shows prior to 2025, your information is no longer in their system.
If you are registered for AGTA and possess an admission badge, you can use it to enter GJX.
This show is strictly NOT open to the public.

G&LW Gem & Lapidary Wholesaler Show
You must create a company profile before utilizing the pre-registration system.
A current and valid State Sales Tax License, State Sales Tax Certificate, or Sales and Use Tax Permit in a gem or jewelry-related business is required. Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) are not qualifying documents and will not be accepted.
This show is strictly NOT open to the public.

Tips for a Smooth Registration
Use the Pre-Registration System
We highly recommend pre-registering online. On the opening day of major shows—especially G&LW, GJX, AGTA, and JOGS—the on-site registration lines can be incredibly long.
If you must register on-site on opening day, allocate plenty of extra time. (It is not uncommon to wait over an hour at the G&LW registration line.)
