The Kino Gem & Mineral Show is the big show in the Tucson gem show. There is a huge pavilion and many tents outside. There will be over 200 vendors, and some of the vendors have huge space. You can visit the Rock Show at the same time. The Kino Gem & Mineral Show and the Rock Show are located in the same place.
You can find a huge Amethyst dome, Crystal rocks, lapis lazuli rocks, Rough minerals, a huge carving rocks, Mineral arts, African Jewelry, Agate slices, Specimens, etc. This show is a good place to take pictures, and also a good place to go with your kids.
On the first day and weekend, parking lot and food court will be crowded. Sometimes, you have to walk about 5 min from parking lot to showplace. (They provide shuttle carts.)

Customer reviews of this show
If you've never done "the gem show" this is the best one for newbies
Numerous tents, free parking, outdoor food court area. Great for wandering around, great for kids. You can get really amazing prices, and only a small handful of vendors deal exclusively with wholesale – this show really caters to the general public. Not just rocks and gems, there are also numerous vendors with unique and unusual items from all over the world. Because it is outside, be sure to check the weather – I went one year when it was a cold rainy day and the mud and and cold air were a big bummer. But this is Tucson, so sunny days are our specialty!
Best variety, free parking, no fees. It's my favorite show.
One of the most diverse collection of materials for sale I’ve found in tucson. I’ve been going for 30+ years and most shows are the same types of items repeated over and over with maybe 1 or 2 truly interesting booths. This show is not the largest but it has a wider variety of items than any other show in town.
World Bead Mine
One of the trustworthy vendors is World Bead Mine. They came from California every year, and they bring really good beads. The young lady and her brother manage this shop, they are very kind and friendly. I recommend this shop to all buyers.
Uruguay amethyst geode
I have purchased some Uruguay amethyst geode a few years ago at a huge tent. (I forgot the name of the booth) They had many Uruguay amethyst, and their rocks were very high quality. However, these were not expensive. There were so many Uruguay amethysts in the Tucson show, but high-quality amethysts were not many.
